Stuart began in the woodworking trade in a family-run joinery workshop and sawmill in the north-west of England where he also qualified to NVQ Level 3 in joinery and team supervision. In 2009 a yearn to wander saw him exercising and developing his woodworking skills around the world in Australia and Canada, finally ending up in Berlin in Germany in 2011. In 2012 he answered a 7-year old advertisement that he found on the internet when Eventful had been looking to recruit for their on-site event teams. In early 2013 he called into our offices on the way to a skiing holiday in Austria and impressed the Munich team so much with his ability, tenacity and motivation that we engaged him to work on a number of events. In the meantime Stu has opened his own workshop in Berlin and built up a dedicated event workforce who now assist us with local fabrication and services for our clients staging events in this capital city. This provides a dynamic local expertise we can call on at any time and a reliable partner capable of independently maintaining our own strict customer standards, while keeping costs of travel and accommodation to a minimum.
