Edwin originally moved to Munich in 1984 from the North of England to work for an American computer company. He liked the Bavarian environment so much that he stayed on and more than 30 years later he is still thriving here.

Edwin stayed with that company until 1992, managing large corporate events and tradeshows around the globe and then jumped over to the supplier side when he founded a small production company that in 2000 evolved into Eventful Management.

He now co-manages Eventful Management with his business partner John Cullen. Edwin holds a degree in Computer Science, advanced degrees in Industrial Robotics and Project Management, was elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) in 2006, and then awarded the designation of Chartered Manager (CMgr) in 2012 so consequently became a Chartered Fellow of the Institute.

Although stoically maintaining a “corner of northern England” in Munich with his wife and two sons, Edwin holds both British and German nationality and speaks fluent German. He has built up a valuable contact network throughout Europe and further afield on his many travels supporting customers, partners and events and is constantly working to investigate and implement new ideas, processes and direction to guide Eventful Management and its' clients to mutual success in their event activities. Edwin coordinates the implementation and management of quality and environmental awareness in the company and managed the team that were successful in achieving formal certification of DIN ISO EN 9001 (quality management) and 14001 (environmental awareness) for Eventful Management in 2011 which were completely updated to the revised standards in 2017. He is also responsible for the development and implementaton of increasingly relevant health, safety and social responsibility policies in the company and their application both in-house and on-site throughout Europe.
