Frankfurt
The Frankfurt Messe is a large-scale venue with a truly global clientele, and our efforts here been on a correspondingly large scale.
In 2010, we provided scenic services in support of HP's Tech@Work event, on this occasion for UK production company WRG. The focus of the plenary was a very large shaped screen complete with integrated edge lighting. This structure, which was 20m wide and weighed 1500kg, was constructed from custom built steel frames supplemented with a plywood surround with built in LED strips. In addition to the usual plethora of breakout rooms, we constructed a complete delegate reception area as well as numerous visitor display stations around the Messe.
KPMG also chose the Frankfurt Messe for their Global Partner Meeting in 2010. Working for London production house Unpsun, we built a substantial set to fill the Festhalle using a 50m wide canvass cyclorama combined with large white fabric covered walls which could be utilised as projection surfaces.
